
The Centre for Human Rights Education (ZMRB) at the University of Teacher Education Central Switzerland - Lucerne (PHZ Lucerne) pursues the aim of placing a higher value on human rights education in the fields of basic and in-service teacher training at both PHZ Lucerne and in schools.
The ZMRB carries out research in the field of human rights education as well as organizing and implementing the annual International Human Rights Forum Lucerne (IHRF).
The ZMRB supports schools in their efforts to include human rights education in the curriculum.
The ZMRB shows teaching staff interrelated cross-curricular themes and evaluates, develops and provides appropriate teaching materials.
The ZMRB offers workshops for companies, institutions, public administrations, ... providing an introduction to human rights or tackling the specific human rights challenges of the target audience.
